Dr. Zainab Mackie

Dr. Zainab Mackie’s passion for  Dentistry started at her uncle’s practice where she would spend her summers there learning about how to actively help patients achieve their oral health and esthetic goals. Dr. Mackie earned her dental degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. After dental school she became Invisalign certified and completed a 2-year orthodontics program (Progressive Orthodontic Seminars). Dr. Mackie is passionate about providing quality care to her patients. She is committed to advancing her skills by attending continuing education seminars throughout the year. Dr. Mackie is active in local Spear Study club and Seattle Study club where she meets regularly with local dental specialists to discuss complex dental cases.

Dr. Mackie is also active on social media, with over 1 million followers across multiple platforms. She uses these platforms to educate and connect with audiences over common dental issues. Dr. Mackie was listed and recognized in Incisal Edge Magazine’s “32 Most Influential People in Dentistry.” She was also a speaker at TikTok’s Lead Finders Summit in New York City.  She has also been selected multiple times to be part of TikTok’s Instructive Accelerator Program, where she creates educational content on the platform.

Dr. Mackie lives in Grosse Pointe with her husband and 2 daughters. They love being outdoors and staying active.
